Philipp Klammsteine, born 1978, lives and works in Bolzano, Italy.
With a penchant for graphic handwork and the modification of the analogue with the digital, the artist creates a unique way of playing with different media and techniques. He likes to fuse graphics with street art, using collage, stencils and spray cans. The works on wood, metal, canvas and 3D sculptures, which mainly deal with themes such as traditions or social networks, encourage the viewer to think and reflect. He tries to make the public aware of the great emotional value given to these themes, what they do to us and how our society deals with them. The artist likes to market these themes in a humorous way through fictional products and encourages people to consume them.
